    Dan is a multi- award-winning writer, director, novelist and playwright with a background in languages and cosmology. He began his career at BBC Radio, where he produced Sean Lock's first series and directed the Radio 4 version of Dante's Inferno. He created the World's first webcast, for which he won the SWPA Gold Award for Drama (jointly with Michael Frayn). He won a Parsec Award for The Minister of Chance, and his play A Joke was a sellout success at The Edinburgh Festival. He has directed several short films and commercials.

    George is a former senior manager, controller, commissioner, programmer and team leader at the BBC, C4, and RTE. He has built and run channels across both linear and streaming platforms.

    He created the scheduling strategy that propelled BBC1 to the market-leading position in the UK.

    As channel controller of RTE One, he grew commercial revenue for the first time in four years. Amongst other hits, he launched "Sherlock", "Black Mirror" and "Luther".
